PINEAPPLE FLIPPED CAKE

INGREDIENTS
 1.50 oz margarine
 1 cup sugar
 5 pineapples slices in syrup
 5 crystallized cherries
PASTRY
 3 oz margarine
 1 cup sugar
 3 eggs
 1.50 cups flour
 2 tsp baking powder
 ½ cup pineapple juice in syrup
 1 pinch salt

DIRECTIONS
1- Melt in a pot 1.5 oz. of margarine and a cup of sugar over low heat, until the sugar turns light brown
2- grease a mold and pour the mixture
3- place the slices of pineapple and put a cherries in the center of each

PASTRY
1- Mix the flour, baking powder and salt
2- beat margarine and sugar until they forma foamy mixture
3- separate the whites from they yolks and add flour, baking powder and salt
4- add pineapple juice and beat 1 minute
5- beat the eggs whites and add them to the mixture with enveloping movements
6- pour the mixture over the mold with the pineapples on the bottom
7- bake at 350 degrees fahrenheit one hour

Remove from the mold immediately, do not let it cool the mold to prevent the caramel from hardenin
